Terms of Service

Welcome to DheetCode ("DheetCode," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DheetCode website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using DheetCode, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using DheetCode, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms.
  • You are at least 13 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of the Service

DheetCode is an educational platform that provides:

  • Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) learning resources.
  • Algorithm visualizations and execution tracing.
  • Coding practice problems and educational content.
  • Progress tracking and personalized learning features.
  • Additional tools and services related to programming education.

We may modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Use bots, automated scripts, or crawlers to access the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, designs, logos, graphics, source code (excluding user-submitted content), algorithm visualizations, text, and software made available through DheetCode are the property of DheetCode or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service solely for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes unless expressly authorized by us in writing.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. User Content

If you submit comments, feedback, code snippets, suggestions, or other content to DheetCode, you retain ownership of your content.

However, by submitting such content, you grant DheetCode a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any content you provide.

7. Third-Party Services

DheetCode may integrate with or provide links to third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Firebase services
  • Analytics providers
  • External educational resources

Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those respective providers. DheetCode is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

8. Availability of the Service

We strive to provide a reliable and uninterrupted experience. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, secure, error-free, or free from interruptions.

We may suspend or limit access to the Service for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or other operational needs.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DheetCode disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability,
  • Fitness for a particular purpose,
  • Non-infringement,
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content.

We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in successful academic performance, coding interview outcomes, or employment opportunities.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DheetCode, its owners, affiliates, contributors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Errors or inaccuracies in educational content.
  • Unauthorized access to or use of your data.
  • Service interruptions, bugs, or technical failures.

In any event, DheetCode's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid, if any, to use the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

  • You have violated these Terms.
  • Your activities may harm DheetCode or its users.
  • We are required to do so by law.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

12. Privacy

Your use of DheetCode is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of DheetCode after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or guidelines published by DheetCode, constitute the entire agreement between you and DheetCode regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
